Rembrandt again. 1665. A smith working on a large figural object of a family.
An extraordinary image I think- he is steadying the object as he hammers on part of it, but
also seems to be embracing the family and to me, seems downcast.
In fact I sense that he is deeply sad- maybe he lost his family to Plague.
