Need to repair this... a very nice object; part of my EDC when I was about 12. I also had a survival kit and a telescope- more on that later.
I guess its a letter-opener (?) but better-made and sharper(!) than the typical souvenir mini-katana. My Dad would often tease me about any knife that I carried;
"hey... pass me that cake-knife, son..."
"It is not a cake knife Dad!!"
"sure, sure..." *cuts cake*
