After yesterday's post, well, it really started me thinking about The Moon, which I dont generally do. I dont know if its a coincidence, but I realise that I treat Silver in a very 'Lunar' way, many of my pieces actually look like moon-maps, painted in a scumbled, wabi-sabi manner, with dark areas of impurity, score-marks etc. You know how the Moon has those dark areas, which seem to me to make it more velvety and mysteriously luminous...
Perhaps, subconsciously, Ive known that The Moon is the best white object, and Ive been trying to emulate it?

subconscious lunar painting! pffff!
